Demonstration at Minnesund
Thursday 26th June
This event provides a unique opportunity to witness advanced maintenance and inspection techniques in action, enhancing knowledge and understanding of live-line work and electrical infrastructure management.
Location and transportation
Minnesund is located approximately 30 km north of Thon Hotel Oslo Airport. The demonstration will take place at a substation near Minnesund, and transportation will be arranged for all participants. Buses will depart from the conference hotel at 8:30 and take attendees to the demonstration site. After the event, the buses will return participants to the airport at 15:00.
Demonstration activities
During the demonstration, participants will have the opportunity to observe various types of high-voltage and low-voltage maintenance and installation work. The activities will be conducted on different voltage levels, showcasing modern techniques and tools used in the field.

- Cleaning components with dry ice
- Bypass method in switchgear
Low voltage work
- Various tasks related to low-voltage maintenance and safety
Demonstration schedule
The demonstrations will be conducted in parallel on different sections of the grid. Some of the demonstrations will be repeated after lunch to allow participants to view multiple activities.
